So I've put page three of the TigerShark comic up. It's definitely in NSFW, which was not totally my intention, but it felt true to the characters so I went with it. Nora is definitely an exhibitionist, and wandering around naked after having sex on a first date is something totally in character for her.
Instantly bonding with Sam is way out of character for her, but totally who Sam is. So that works too after a fashion. It also explains why she’s totally set on helping him. Also, because she works in the same building as Silas Co. HR and so she knows all the right people.
Cath is another story. Why she loves Bob and hates Sam is a part of all their history. Although hate might not be the right word… 8)
I have some ideas for how to make the comic come out faster, but there are delays on the horizon.
I'm going to be away on a fishing trip in Canada! I'm going with Dad and my two brothers and I expect it to be a lot of fun.
'til next time.

Updates
Ok, so the comic is progressing very slowly. I'm not used to doing lots of people per frame. I keep hoping that someday I'll be faster, but today isn't that day apparently. I'm guessing that I'm halfway done with page 2, but wow is it taking a long time.
In other news I've updated the behind the scenes stuff on the website to a healthy version of PHP 5.6 and MySQL is still stuck in the dark ages, but I'm not sure there's anything I can do about that. Happily I've avoided breaking the website. 8)
Yes, I love tinkering with computers almost as much as I love drawing. I'm still considering hand-coding the site like I did with the Down-time pages, but I'm not there yet. I'm not sure if I ever will be, but I keep dreaming about it.

Cookies?
Ok, so If you're visiting my site from Europe (Lucky bastards), I'm supposed to say something about cookies.
My favorite is Fig Newtons, or that's what they used to be called before they starting coming in other flavors. Frankly the other flavors are what I really prefer these days. I also like Nilla Wafers, especially with banana milk. Pfeffernusse are particularly good, but you can only get them around the holidays.
Other than these I don't use cookies on the website. Google might, and you'd have to ask them, but I don't.
Please partake in moderation: one cookie at a time. 8)

My TigerShark Comic
Ok, so the TigerShark webcomic is kinda up. I'm impatient, so right now the first page and some random in-progress bits that I was using for testing the wordpress theme are up there.
I'll update the crappy in progress stuff with actual comics shortly. In the meantime I figure no one is visiting this dusty old site, so I can get away with this for the moment. I'll ramp up advertising, or something shortly.
I had really wanted to get a backlog of posts going, but I'll put the first three pages up, get a few more done and then start talking about this over at my DeviantArt site.

Hey, a new post!
Woo! I've figured out how to post on the blog again.
Just imagine that I've said something witty here, rather than being caught by surprise by my own success.

More Arrow
I've binged my way through most of the first season of Arrow. It's awesome. My tv watching disability hasn't killed it too badly for me. Like any good show, you love it despite it's faults. They've had their "Smallville" moments, with Arrow and his best friend taking turns angst-ing/mooning over the mutual girlfriend. It wasn't too excessive (unlike Smallville) and served to create some good tension despite it's cheesy moments. It also made room for the Original Star Trek "True Love syndrom," where the main character finds some other true love and the writers do away with her (usually this happens for the guy, since female characters aren't allowed to find 'true love' with anyone else, because that would shatter our pre-conceptions about true love, purity, etc., etc.). But they stretched it over several episodes so it didn't feel like it was cheap or under-developed.
Like I said before. It's good stuff.
